Nature has given us the gift of nuts. Nuts are usually found in the cold region. Nuts are eatable fruits covered in hard and tough shells. They are small in size and vary in taste and nutrients.

Nuts have almost all the basic nutrients, vitamins, protein, fiber, antioxidants etc. in them. They are packed with all the nutrients that are important for the healthy body. They are easily available and we can have them anytime and from anywhere. Some of the nuts are quite expensive but some of them are also budget friendly. These nuts were the important part of our ancestor’s diet. They used to consume these nuts on daily basis.

We all are aware of walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, cashews and also peanut. Although peanut is not the nut, they are legume but we take them under the category of nuts.

If we look at the research done, we get to know that these nuts helps to fight the heart disease and prevent gallstones. They are also used to prevent inflammation, cancer and hypertension.

They help to get rid of anemia as it contains iron and zinc. It also helps to keep the heart healthy and make it work properly.

They are known as the nutrients powerhouse. They are rich in nutrients, protein, iron etc. they are sweet in nature but still they help to control the diabetes.

These are dehydrated grapes. They help in curing the gum problems. They also help to relief the constipation and make the bone strong.

These nuts provide all the basic nutrients that are important for the proper functioning of our body. We should consume them if we want to keep ourselves healthy. As it is well said that “health is wealth”.
