The word is made up of many different kinds of substances, which we call chemicals. A chemical is a substance that cannot be broken down without changing it into something else. Water, Oxygen, and Gold are all chemicals. Paper is not a chemical, it is a mixture of lots of other substances that can be separated. Chemicals can either occur naturally or can be created artificially. There are some types of chemicals like natural and artificial chemicals.
The difference between the natural chemicals and artificial chemicals is that natural chemicals are produced by nature without any human intervention. Artificial chemicals are used by humans using methods different from that nature uses, and these chemical structures may or may not be found in nature.
Here some common types of chemicals.

Agrochemicals & Pesticides:
Pesticides are used to protect crops from disease and infestation. They are considered important for protecting harvests and ensuring our food supply. All pesticides contain active substances. These are the essential ingredients that enable them to function. This can be a chemical or it can be a microorganism, such as a bacterium or a virus. In some cases the chemical works by confusing insects, in other cases they make the crop less palatable for pests. But commonly they work by killing the damaging insects, weeds or fungi.
Pesticides can be widely distributed in the environment, where they could be harmful to plants and animals. In some cases, small amounts called residues can find their way into the food we eat. These residues could be harmful if they exceed certain levels. There are many ways in which pesticide residues can get into our food.
For example, residues in treated crops can be carried from the field to the food on our table. Residues can get into the water supply, or they can contaminate soil or animal feed and so find their way into our food indirectly. Crucially, the amount of pesticide residue in food must be as low as possible, and the food must be safe to eat. This is maintained through Maximum Residue Levels which are legally enforced and monitored.
Organic & Inorganic chemicals:
The word “organic” implies something much different in chemistry than it does when you’re talking about produce and food. Natural compounds and inorganic compounds form the premise of chemistry.
The main distinction between organic vs. inorganic compounds is that organic compounds always carry carbon while most inorganic compounds do not contain carbon.
Also, nearly every organic compounds contain carbon-hydrogen or C-H bonds. Note that containing carbon is not ample for a compound to be considered organic.
